| NSPIS - Home office program |

 As
can be seen on other pages on this website Dealerward
has been developing the NSPIS housings for Derbyshire
Constabulary. NSPIS is a National Strategy for
Police Information Systems. The application
allows the police to electronically capture accurate
case information. It ensures that custody staff record
prisoner’s personal and arrest details and that
the relevant information is displayed to both the charge
sergeant and the prisoner This is a trial, which Derbyshire
and other constabularies are running. The results will
be evaluated by the Home Office next summer and if the
trial is successful, which early result seem to indicate
it is, then hundreds of police jobs will be saved and
then the scheme will be roll out nationally. Dealerward

| Ben Argent - New Design Graduate |

| We
are pleased to welcome Benjamin Argent to our over worked
design department. Ben will be starting with us in late
October. He left Nottingham Trent University with a
BA (Hons) in Furniture and Product Design this summer.
He managed this while running his own bespoke furniture
business in Cornwall. Ben hopes that he will develop
his project management skills and experience with Dealerward
while making a valuable contribution to our design staff. |
