Dealerward made and installed the main feature wall in the reception which consisted of five ‘ribs’ in white lacquer, supported by a pre-fabricated laminate wall. Recessed into the wall are thirteen glass display cases in which genuine Olympic torches are suspended on acrylic brackets.  The ends and doorways of the wall are finished with the Olympic colours which also extend outside to create the signage for BOA. A section of the bottom rib is peeled out into the room to form a curved reception desk.

All of the elements were pre-fabricated in the workshop which enabled the three-man site team to complete the installation within  two weeks.

Alongside Modus and Gebler Tooth, Dealerward also worked closely with branding consultants Antidote and signage company Sequel signs to make sure the signage of the displays met the client’s high standards.

The fit out was completed on the 9th of October in preparation for the Royal opening by Princess Anne on the 20th October.

Starting on the Atlantic Coast they reached the Mediterranean 7 days later, cycling a total of 450 miles and around 50,000 feet of vertical ascent over the mountain passes.

Congratulations from Dealerward, what a fantastic effort and for such a worthy cause!

We approached Applied Works and asked them to produce a new house style for us.  Joe Sharpe and Rachel Folkman of Applied Works then collaborated with Zoe Bather of Studio 8 to develop an inspired new look to our firm’s brand.  The launch date for the new graphic branding and website is set for May 2009 and the new brand will feature in the May edition of Grafik magazine.

This order heralds a new business relationship with Laing O’Rourke, the main contractor.  The building, still being finished, will require 6 floors of bespoke items, all designed by the architects Morey Smith.  Phases 2 and 3 of Arup’s development of this, their showcase site, will reflect both their and the architects’ modern and flexible design attitude to the office interior.

The open plan areas are broken up with subtle coloured screens and meeting areas are framed in glass and recycled timber panels.

The needs of this project, due for completion in November 2009, exactly match our expertise and we look forward to supplying the finished product to a fully satisfied client.

This very high specification incorporated veneered and lacquered panelling, many meeting rooms with AV walls, leather seating, glazed panels, break-out and print room areas, a library and fitted credenza units with marble counters.

We worked with the architects Gensler's, turning their designs into working drawings that co-ordinated the design intent with the constructional needs and requirements of the many related trades.

Many of the committed and loyal staff remains with the firm throughout their working lives.  There is constant investment in the future, including a full apprenticeship training programme and expansion of the workshop facilities and equipment.  Everyone is dedicated to the creation of the excellent products which are shipped out to our worldwide clients.

The party was also a celebration of our partnership and we were very happy to bring most of our international workforce together, under one roof, for the occasion.

  • We commissioned an independent assessment of efficiency and effectiveness in our workshop.  The result was our new handling system.  All board materials of any size can now be transported mechanically and with ease by one member of staff.
  • Sheets can now be cut on the new beam saw.  This CNC  controlled machine is run online from the drawing office and the operator uses a screen console.  It can manage perfectly sheets t o a maximum of 4100 x 2200 x 80 with an accuracy of 0.1mm.  It even prints its own bar code labels for the finished cut parts.
