HISTORY & ETHOS

Dealerward was established in 1986. It was a private limited company initially established to provide an installation service for dealer desk producers. It was run in conjunction with an existing furniture manufacturing business controlled by the same management team.

With Dealerward’s introduction onto the trading floors of large corporate financial institutions the business was led into further areas of work. These included; the manufacture of trading desks; the provision of quality veneered furniture to executive and ‘front of house’ areas for the same customers; the supply of command and control positions for public sector clients, mainly the emergency services.

As the business grew it formed relationships with specialist manufactures, until a partnership was formed with a production base in Germany. At our address in North Wiltshire are the design and administration offices and the prototyping workshop. In Corsham, 3 miles away, is our industrial unit for storage, assembly
and production. Full production of timber based parts takes place in our partner’s factory in Germany and other specialist components are engineered by different suppliers throughout the UK. All contracts undertaken by Dealerward start and finish with our own staff, there’s no sub-contracting of the installation of completed furniture.

Although most of the contracts are London based, Dealerward has worked through out the UK. A three year commission from the Maritime Coastguard Agency involved us supplying furniture to the absolute edges of the UK. Other contracts have taken the business to all parts of Europe as well as Asia and North America. Our site staff have worked in areas where security has been of the utmost importance and the deadlines critical.

Dealerward does not have product lines, it is a bespoke provider. It designs, manufactures and installs specialist furniture and joinery items to a brief provided by the client. It has considerable experience making pieces that involve the inclusion of other services, especially IT and AV equipment.

As a result of its work in control rooms and on trading floors, Dealerward can offer valuable ergonomic and anthropometrical advice at the design stage of commissions.

The company's contracts with large corporate clients have provided us with considerable experience of the making of quality products in quantity which can be relied upon by all potencial clients.

The business has grown steadily over the years but it still remains a private limited concern with no controlling parent company.
